Summary
Shane Hollander was in their shared livingroom, crying.
Crying over what? His stupid ass dipshit of a boyfriend who could not help but pick him apart piece by piece, then leave him all alone, broken.
And Ilya Rozanov? He was the one comforting him, putting him back together like how his boyfriend should've been.
“Don’t cry, красивый, don’t cry because of him.. You are so pretty when you cry, he does not deserve to be the cause of your tears” and then Ilya tilts Shane’s chin up, so the two are making eye contact, and Shane’s eyes widened ever so slightly, his cheeks burned. He knew his face was pink.
The way Ilya was looking down at him like he was the only person in the world, like he was precious. Fuck, no one had ever made him feel so, special? Maybe? With just his eyes, it was so beautiful, so endearing.
Shane lost himself in Ilyas eyes, forgetting why they were even there in the first place.

Summary
When Shane Hollander is injured on the ice, his parents expect a long night in a hospital waiting room — not the slow unraveling of the life their son has carefully kept separate from them.
Told primarily through the eyes of Yuna Hollander, this is a story about secrecy and survival, about the quiet cost of loving someone too carefully, and about the ways love shows up when it finally has nowhere left to hide.
Hurt/comfort, family reckoning, rival captains in love, and the soft certainty of choosing each other, over and over again.Bookmarked by snickers93

Summary
“He’ll never forget anything about their first night. Or any night he shared with Ilya. Every detail has been etched into him. Without them, he wouldn’t recognize himself. Without them he was blank.
Stop thinking about Rozanov. Fuck.
He seeks new memories. New… etches.
So when future archeologists dig up his bones they won’t read them like a love letter to Ilya Rozanov.
Shane knows it’s risky.
But he doesn’t know that tonight he won’t be etched, he’ll be broken.”
When Shane hooks up with a stranger after a game, he thinks the worst that could happen is getting outed. He is wrong. What was meant to be a night to forget all about Ilya Rozanov, becomes a night when he needs him most.

Summary
"It will be quick
It will make everything quiet again.
Part of Shane knew that it would be a horrible option, that he should stop. It’s self-destructive and it’s just wrong.
But a darker, more twisted part of Shane says that it will make the noise go away. That it can’t be that bad if no one said anything until now."
Or
Shane relapses after a terrible game

Summary
Shane Hollander’s knee gets blown out by team USA at the International Prospect Cup semi-final before he ever gets to face Rozanov on the ice. His hockey career is unexpectedly put on hold until he can get reconstructive surgery.
Needing to stay close to the game while unable to get on the ice, Shane gets a job in sports journalism and is lucky enough to stumble into the opportunity to do be present for post-game interviews while his coworker is out sick.
He doesn’t expect anyone to notice him in the media scrum, surrounded by cameras, mics, and legitimate reporters. Ilya Rozanov, however, hardly ever embodies the expected.
