But he’s already made his decision; you can't come back from this. He stares wide-eyed as the ground gets closer and closer as the seconds tick on, eyes squeezing shut as he waits for impact. He awaits the consequences of his own stupid actions and then—
I don’t want to die.
—and then he opens his eyes and he’s stood peering over the edge of the building he’d just fallen from. Beside him, his shoes are tucked neatly on the ledge, backpack leaned on the ground beside them just as he’d left them. Izuku blinks owlishly, leaning forwards to stare ten stories down. Ten stories down where he’d just been a moment prior, only seconds away from hitting the ground.
He’s... back?
And that’s the first time Midoriya Izuku realizes that he does, in fact, have a Quirk.

The ropes bite into pale wrists and ankles, his body lashed neatly to the rickety dining chair Atsushi dragged from the kitchen. Atsushi tied every knot with the same focus he’d use in battle, each tug on the cord tight enough to make his own arms ache. He expected a struggle. A fight. A curse. Something. Anything.
But Dazai hasn’t moved, not really. He’s been watching Atsushi with that lazy, half-lidded eye the entire time, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, as if this whole thing is mildly amusing.
And he’s awake. Fully conscious.
That fact makes Atsushi’s stomach twist.

The coincidences that continued to pile up on top of each other, the feeling of numerous pairs of eyes watching him from the shadows, and the slight shift of trinkets inside his small apartment can all be amounted to one conclusion: he’s being stalked.
Is it because of the tiger hiding beneath his skin? Is he a threat that needs to be kept in check? Or perhaps they're waiting for the right moment to strike?

Ten was the number of fingers that entangled themselves in his hair. And as the final countdown finished, he found himself trembling at the feet of the boy, in need and yearning.
This year, he asked for something rather special. He asked the boy to show him hatred. To treat him like filth. And to let him worship him throughout.
And although each touch seemed a tad bit too gentle for it to be out of true malice, he appreciated the effort, as Atsushi pulled him and made him stare up at those gorgeous eyes dumbly, awestruck by them for what must've been the millionth time.
