His hips snapped inward, narrowing cruelly. His spine arched, and he felt something rip at the base of it—something new forming, curling, flexing. His legs no longer existed. Where there had once been skin and bone, there was now only the pulsing ache of something wrong, something not his.

The suitors are able to successfully attack Telemachus, stabbing him and throwing him into the ocean and right into Poseidon's domain. Sure Poseidon knew he wanted revenge on Odysseus but he didn't think it would be this easy. Odysseus had hurt his boy, mutilated him, it was only fair to even things out. An eye for an eye. -
