He seems unwilling to continue, but Raine lets the silence drag out a few more moments anyway. “Is this about what I said?”
“I don’t think it was wise.”
Raine and Kratos share a past; Kratos finally confronts her about it.

Summary
They get McDonald’s after it all, as if a Happy Meal and a milkshake is going to make Sam forgive all of this. Dean hands the employee, young and bald and bored, a five, then peels out of the drive-through like a rebel without a cause. Sam glances behind him to see the employee closing the window calmly, as if he didn’t even notice. There’s a gift, Sam believes, in being able to not notice Dean. Sam doesn’t have this gift.
Sam is weird about his brother.

Summary
Wataru is subdued. Beneath him the man is quiet, his only expression a tilt of his lips and a flutter in his eyelids. It’s stark enough contrast that Yuzuru wonders if this is yet another role or simply Truth under the mask. He doubts, in Wataru’s infinite incomprehensibles, that he will ever know.

Yuuta has dreamed of cleaving his brother in half. He has dreamed of cutting him up into little cubes. He had dreamed of peeling the skin off his arm and eating it raw, feeling the way the flesh bled inside of him. Even now, he’s holding back.

Asch keeps having wet dreams about Luke, much to his chagrin. He also keeps opening the connection to Luke and worries that Luke is going to find out about these unwanted feelings. Perfect concept, but it feels unfinished. Written decently, only a few typos and weird formatting. Don't read on mobile. Psychosis-inducing execution of the concept otherwise.

No real criticisms. Made me realize how logical the Genis route is. Helps me conceptualize Zelette as a romantic endeavor far better than any other fic I've read, so definitely keep this in mind as a blueprint for developing them.
Actually, one criticism: the story glosses over the canon and pauses on key moments which is the best way the story can be told without being a repetitive epic, but is simultaneously not the best method of storytelling available. Author did very well given this reality, and it didn't even bore me while reading it where others of its ilk would have been much more off-putting. The framing and focus on Colette and Zelos helped a lot, as well as maintaining a throughline that has nothing to do with the canon plot.

Raine heals Kratos at her own expense after fighting Sheena on the Ossa Trail. I'm super in love with the "weakness" line; it's a perfect representation of what I want out of the Raine/Kratos dynamic. Slightly heavy-handed with the emphasis on guilt and there was a bit of headhopping, but overall great.

Kratos certainly didn't like the idea of being called that in bed. However, Lloyd wasn't talking about Kratos.

Lloyd asks Kratos to call him "daddy" in bed. Lloyd doesn't know. Minor punctuation issues but otherwise written very well. The dialogue is slightly awkward but in a way that adds charm and honestly believability to the situation, particularly on Lloyd's part via the chosen characterization.

The single most memorable Enstars fic I've read. Seriously a shame it never finished but that doesn't make it not worth reading. I'm just a sucker for Kaoru/Maddie interactions, and this does it so, so well.
