Summary
Gustave awoke to the gray light of early morning and Verso crouched beside the bed, two fingers wrapped around his wrist.
"What," Gustave managed, "are you doing."
"Your heart rate was elevated during sleep," Verso said, matter-of-factly. "Irregular breathing patterns. I wanted to ensure you were not experiencing a medical emergency."
"I was dreaming," Gustave said, with extraordinary care. "People do that."
Verso's brow creased slightly. "Oh." A pause, and something moved through his expression that resolved before Gustave could name it. "My apologies. I have logged this for future reference." He did not let go of Gustave's wrist.
"You can let go now."
"Your pulse is still elevated."
"Because you startled me awake."
Verso stared at him, and for just a moment, something like annoyance flickered across his expression.In which Gustave comes across a destroyed android in the scrapyard. When VRS-0 wakes with no memory, neither of them are prepared for what comes next.

Summary
From the now open doorway Verso could see Q, with his back to the door, leaning heavily onto his personal workbench, the sleeves of his white button-up were rolled up to locked elbows, and his head hanging low. Verso could even make out some of Q's mumbling and he gave a small wince as he heard complaints that were certainly about him and his inability to listen.
Verso knocked lightly on the open door and Q's head snapped up. Standing up, Q's hands went to straighten his tie, the black and gold metal of his prosthetic shining beneath the bright overhead lights, as he began to turn towards the door.
I believe I told every—," Q's voice cut out as he finished turning and saw Verso.
Verso cleared his throat before he stepped further into the office, "Gus—." he started before Q cut him off.
"007, I would have hoped that you would have gone to medical before darkening my doorway."
