Summary
Jackie took the role of caregiver as swiftly as she became team captain. She held Shauna as she cried for her baby and comforted Misty after a nightmare and soothed Melissa after an accident.
It was like she was born for the role. She could actually be helpful, which she still felt like the girls held a grudge for her lack of participation in the wilderness.
And when her therapist suggested that regression could be helpful for her, Jackie didn’t talk for the rest of the session. And when Nat looked at her with her soft eyes after she walked in on Jackie trying to calm a panic attack by herself, she shut her out for the rest of that week.

Summary
Caitlyn Kiramman was a lot of things. She was the Councillor’s daughter, born into a life of privilege and luxury. She was an A star student, leaving education with a degree and immediately starting her career as a detective. She was head of detective’s, the person that her co-workers looked up to. And most importantly she was Vi’s girlfriend, and had been for several years. They’d met in high school and were practically high school sweethearts. Caitlyn knew everything about Vi, and Vi knew almost everything about Caitlyn.
Caitlyn was a neutral. Or that’s what she told everyone anyway.
or
Ever since Caitlyn Kiramman was classified as a little five years ago, she’s hated it. She’s been overtaking regression blocker pills since she was classified, but now moving in with Vi, she can no longer access them.
A classification AU.

Summary
“Who is it?“ He asked. He looked over his shoulder toward the couch for a split second before his eyes went right back to the stove.
“Your mom,“ Trinity said. She didn’t even hesitate. She reached over, grabbed the phone, and started to swipe the screen like she was actually going to pick it up and start a conversation.
Dennis dropped the spoon and froze for a second before his brain went into total panic mode.

Summary
Shauna knew how this worked, she had seen it firsthand in the wilderness with Melissa and Akilah. At some point around everyone's 17th birthday, there is a small chance of a potent mix of hormones and brain chemicals mixing and sending strange signals to the brain. Shauna always guessed it would be easy to notice, it was when it was out in the wilderness afterall. One day people would be acting like themselves, then the next they would drop hard and fast.
She always assumed Callie would be a neutral. There was never anything to suggest otherwise. Callie seemed to be up on all her milestones. She was walking and talking when the parenting books said she should be, and Jackie was always telling Shauna that Callie was ‘more perceptive’ than her peers. So no, Shauna never really expected Callie to present as a little. She expected even less that if that situation did ever arrive, that it would be Lottie-fucking-Matthews telling her everything.

Summary
Shauna squints. Is the girl making fun of her? Is Shauna just not understanding the teasing?
The girl ignores Shauna’s suspicious gaze and just claps her hands, as if Shauna just said the best thing ever to her. “Wowza, you’re so cool! Bon-joor!”
Five-year-old Shauna Shipman is learning a very important lesson: moving to America is incredibly difficult, especially when you only speak French.
Difficult. Not impossible. Not if Jackie Taylor has anything to say about it.
