Olivia knew two things: that man was holding a preschooler, and she was pretty sure he was a serial killer. She was going to do the dumb thing and get out of her car.
This started out as a simple, "how did Matt get the kidnapped boy home in episode two?" And turned into, "if they just talked to each other jfc." So now here I am, adding in another character with the express long-term goal of fixing season two (and the short-term goal of adding to the Matt Murdock/OC tag).

It's a hallucination, like all the rest. Objectively, Tim understands that.
But he feels the words like an icepick in his chest all the same, and a part of him knows. This version of Dick might not be real, these words might not be real, but what he's saying is true anyway.
"Are you fucking listening to me?" says the man in the red helmet. "The big bad bat's not coming to save you." There's a crash, and when Tim turns toward it, his desk's been overturned. His laptop is lying on the floor in a tangle of cords. If any of this were actually happening, Tim might be afraid that it was broken.

Jason didn’t know when it started. If he thought about it, he remembered the bright light that surrounded his mom in her last days. After that, he noticed the way some people lit up, outlined in a growing brightness that emitted from the edges of their beings. The brighter the individual, the closer they were to death.
At the parties that Bruce insisted on dragging him to, he expected the dim light from the tired old businessmen who drank too much and were limping closer to their ends, glowing a little more every time Jason saw them.
What he did not expect was for the 12-year-old neighbor kid to light up like a damn Christmas tree the second Jason laid his eyes on him.

or, Tim Drake has never been normal about his interests a single day of his life, and unfortunately for the Bats, thats them now.
