(Subspace remembers a memory of him and Medkit sharing their first kiss after bonding through sledding only to then learn that Medkit has killed himself years later.)
“Aw, but Meddy, maybe we can—” Subspace quickly tried to speak, but he was cut off.
“What, are we going to spend the rest of our time out here getting my sleds back?” said Medkit, now slightly agitated at the fact that this outing was a waste.
They would both be right back in the lab working again without any time for fun, and it was all his fault, but then Subspace tapped his shoulder.
Medkit turned over, his saddened expression faltering with Subspace’s words.
“We'll just use mine together!” Subspace said while pointing his thumb over his shoulder to his sled.
