The VIP liaison scoffed. "I heard the new Front Man is a former player, the nutcase who played the games twice. There's interesting rumors about you two, actually."
Inho clenched his jaw. "I will get this settled. If he continues to disrupt the operation here, he will be dealt with. There are no personal feelings involved."
"Whatever it is, you better figure it out before the players are brought to the island."
or,
Inho and Gihun, now co-Front Men of the games, finally resolve the years of tension between them.

Summary
The worst four years of Gihun’s life didn’t end the way either of them anticipated. Inho stopped the Games at the very last second, and now, back in Seoul with feet on dry land and no real place to call home, Gihun and Inho are left to figure out how to navigate a life neither of them expected to still be living.
Gihun has to keep living - for Gayeong, for all the friends and family he’s lost, for the ones who are still alive. This means finally talking to the people he’s been keeping at arms length, giving them the answers he’s been holding close to his chest. It means making decisions for himself and not just for revenge. It means raising a baby he never planned to have.
Inho has to keep living for Gihun.
But the Games are bigger than them both and far from over. A few bombs on an island aren’t enough to put an end to it all. Faced with some difficult decisions to make, Inho may already be in too deep to choose wisely and Gihun finds himself yet again at the centre of it all.

Summary
“Gi-hun-ssi. I’m curious. Why would you want to sacrifice other players?” His eyes were large like an owl’s, inquisitive in his staring as his gaze pierced through Gi-hun.
“We can’t end the games in any other way. A lot more of us would die if we got caught up in the fight with the Os.”
“I understand, but isn’t it counterproductive? You did come into the games to save people. Why are you letting people die now?”
Gi-hun paused, his jaw setting as he registered Young-il’s words. Involuntarily, Gi-hun stared him down, like he’d been trying to intimidate him. “We simply can’t have everything, Young-il-ssi. Don’t you know this by now?”
“Do you think not everyone is worth saving, then?”

Young-il continues his discussion with Gi-hun in the bathrooms. Set shortly before the rebellion.

Bookmarker's Notes
Young-il was silent as Gi-hun’s eyes pleaded to him, large hands finding themselves on top of Gi-hun’s frailer shoulders as the distance between them closed. The touch felt like a constant, grounding him to earth and comforting him, like Young-il had been throughout these past three days — despite Young-il’s stubbornness and insistence in challenging him, he remained by his side, not unlike a blind follower to an idol.
Just amazing symbolism throughout omg

Summary
“Can you feel that?” Young-il murmured, his voice low and almost reverent as he pressed his hips firmly against Gi-hun's.
“This is what you do to me—your voice, your face, every expression, every inch of you. You make me want to bend you over, to claim you as mine completely. Every single day.”When Gi-hun and Inho are locked in a room with nothing but a bed, he quickly realises that this game is unlike anything he has ever played before.

Summary
After lights out, In-ho couldn’t help but reminisce about the last time he’d been here, precisely three years ago. The last time he’d been here, his wife had been all he was thinking about. And now, he wasn’t just thinking of her, but of the Frontman. Of Gi-hun. Of the failed rebellion.
He’d never forget it. Never forget him, with his honeyed voice and sickly sweet perfume, who was so impressed by how In-ho had won.
A guard came up to him and In-ho could barely flinch anymore. He didn't know what he could've done to deserve this.
“He wants to see you.”
This was his only chance, even though the fire in him had been long snuffed out.
