Steve Harrington, a jock-turned-researcher at the SCP foundation, finds himself in quite the predicament once a new anomaly joins the ranks of the Keter class. He worries for his and everyone else’s safety in this facility, all the while wondering who this new entity truly happens to be.
Edward Munson, the new anomaly, is a mystery. No one knows who the entity is or where in the world “it” came from.
These two men, their worlds colliding in a way no one thought possible, can only hope they survive the future dilemmas they face.

Three shots ring out.
Steve hears them before he feels them; a warm, wet pain burning in his torso, intolerably excruciating.
There’s a bundle of squawks and screams, outbursts of panic and anger, and it’s only when Hopper falls forwards to take Steve up into a slightly rough, protective hold, does he realize that two of those shots have lodged themselves in his own flesh and bone. (Realizes that he’d moved, instinctively, to shield El, despite never having spoken to her, who’d the gun had been so precisely pointed at, aimed for.)
Steve Harrington watches his own blood pool and trickle over a series of hands pressed against him, small and large, soft and rugged, and for a moment, wants to stay like this. He can’t.

“Eddie,” Steve interrupts. “I like you.”
Eddie whips around so quickly he trips over his own legs, yelping. Steve sees it happen in slow motion: the stumble, Eddie’s hands flailing, and finally, tragically, Eddie crashing right into the lake.
Steve stares at the water Eddie fell into, blinking wildly. It ripples ominously, bubbles rising to the surface.
“Shit,” he says faintly.
(Or, Steve brings Eddie out to a lake in an attempt to woo him. It kind of works.)

Christmas Eve, 1993. Five-year-old Ezra Harrington is looking forward to another Christmas with his dad, Steve Harrington. Steve is a successful businessman who, although has riches, finds himself alone with his son yet again during the holidays.
Eddie Munson works as a mall Santa to try to get some extra money for Christmas. His uncle, Wayne Munson, is working during the holidays, leaving his nephew alone for the holidays.
And so, the two males decide to spend the holiday together. However, they find themselves in the past as old feelings begin to reform after so many years.
