This series of events, of dreams, of cause and effect, would lead him to believe that his patron was awarding him with a sort of precognition. However, whether it was his personality or something else at play, no matter how many times he warned the people around him, no one would ever take him seriously.
Jonah could have prophesied their deaths or the numbers of a winning ticket, and not a single one of them would take it seriously, somehow always putting it off as a joke.
As if he would joke about it. It became frustrating, as time and years went by, how no matter what, no one would listen. He meant it too, more often than not, the things Jonah warned people about weren't even his fault, he would dream of random accidents, of bad luck that could be easily avoidable. He would say something and then…they would just call him paranoid and laugh it off.
Not so fun when it happened to them in the end was it? Yet even when he told them I told you so, they still cursed him for not giving them a warning. He did! He did and they didn't believe him!!!

Summary
