Summary
“What do you think you’re doing?” Astarion’s incredulous face pokes over a neatly cut edge of dirt.
The world regains definition. Durge is in terrible danger of blurting out his most jarring, errant thought: Astarion would look lovely in wedding livery, stained rust-red.
“It’s even darker down here, you know.” He slams the doors of his mind-vault shut. “So many more stars can be seen.”
“Out of all the places… Are you serious?”
“Dead serious.”
Durge chuckles at his own witticism. Astarion groans.
“Is there room down there?”
Durge wiggles his limbs. There is enough space to toss and turn if he ever felt like spending the night in a corpse pit (the prospect is tempting). The earth cradles him quite snuggly, however. A newly dead child’s grave? He imagines it is for him and feels a strange solace.
“No.”
“Great.”
Astarion climbs into the grave to join him.

Summary
故事的开场并不体面，邪念在刺杀目标人物时遇到了被全裸捆在床上的阿斯代伦，后者被卡扎多尔当做礼物献给了刚被邪念枪决的尸体。
出于对方的请求和线束的开锁技巧，邪念把阿斯代伦留在了身边，只是当做万能钥匙和泄欲工具。
直到家族宴会后，他受到了奥林的追杀，居所被毁，让他不得不临时带上阿斯代伦这个累赘一起亡命天涯。
随着邪念继续执行着巴尔的任务，想扮演一个好儿子得到爸爸的爱，但在发现索姆将军掌控的疗养院里所藏的秘密以后，真相慢慢浮现，邪念的世界观逐渐崩塌。直到这时他才发现那个他曾视为“工具”的男人，竟在他心里已经举足轻重，是他对抗这个无序世界唯一的锚点。
当“诚实”成为一种生理毒药，当“撒谎”意味着皮肉崩裂。
为了让阿斯代伦继续活下去，邪念发现必须亲手解剖自己的曾经以为坚不可摧的精神和血骨。

“Promise me you’ll come back. Promise me, okay?”
“I promise.”
Astarion unlatches the window, pushes it open just a hair to free his rumpled note. Even that small crack sends a ribbon of chilled air into his chamber, prickling his skin with gooseflesh. He unfolds the parchment, half-hoping for the message therein to be intact. The ink on the rain-weathered half of the note has, of course, been mostly washed off or otherwise a smudged, illegible mess.
…boring… So I thought exchanging letters would make it suck less…eaten today yet? I hope you’re not lettin… half the food from your plate again. Don’t dragonborn need to eat a lot, especially when you’re growing? I’ve been… could be worse, I guess… You would’ve kicked all their asses, I bet…
Only the inconsequential needling and quibbling of a pathetic, needy child. Astarion crumples up the note and tosses in his unlit fireplace.

“So you were not spooked? Not even a little?” Durge asks between heavy breaths.
“No.” Astarion says easily.
“What if it was some dangerous person? Someone looking to kidnap you, or worse?”
“Bah, I knew it was you.”
“How come?”
“I just knew.”
Astarion could simply tell. Not owing to their pre-planned playdate—the day’s earlier drama had completely monopolised his mental faculties. Not even owing to the distinctive smell of Durge’s magic: rain-damp earth, a touch of decaying leaves, ozone astringency—scents in natural abundance given the coming rainstorm. His skin seems to know the way Durge’s shape, his movements, displace air. It is heartening reassurance that Astarion would probably know him blind, drawn to the other boy as a compass needle to its true north.

Astarion was content to spend the rest of eternity here with his sleeping beauty. Content to watch his chest expand with each breath; to hear his strong heartbeat keeping steady rhythm; to feel his warmth seeping into every inch of Astarion and wrapping round and round his dead heart until he could pretend they lived in one skin.
Astarion and Durge enjoy an afternoon together after ridding the world of Cazador and Orin. If you've ever wanted a little something more after the Dark Urge successfully resists the Urge, you'll enjoy this fic.

Summary
Durge closed his eyes...He luxuriated in the cocoon he had made for himself—Astarion wrapped around him, the sounds and scents of his arousal drowning all else out, the discomforts of the day and the tadpole and the urge and everything else falling away before the ecstasy of pleasuring his lover.
In which Durge is insanely in love (emphasis on insane) and Astarion comes to realize he doesn't have to try so hard. This is a little obscene, a little sweet, and Astarion has a great time.
