The gash on his arm left by Kyoujurou’s sword doesn’t close as fast as it should– it’s impossible for Kyoujurou to have noticed, but Akaza realizes it within seconds. The pain lingers instead of seeping away like it normally does, collecting into three invisible lines circling his arm.
