    Summary

    Quinlan Vos has been sent to Nar Shaddaa. His mission: to find and stop the Prince, a mysterious crime lord who is reported to be selling Sith artifacts to Dooku. Simple enough, in one sense, right up until the point he learns he really can't finish this mission alone.

    Cody sends him some help in the form of four elite troopers, but Quinlan Vos isn't so sure about this whole 'working with other people thing' - and the Bad Batch aren't particularly eager to work with the Jedi Shadow.

    What seems to be a simple mission soon spirals out of control. The commandos of Bad Batch, while highly skilled, are still new to the war and even newer to crime planets. Quinlan Vos is proficient at undercover work, but staying undercover with the Bad Batch at his side doesn't work that well.

    In the meantime, the Sith are on the move. Ancient, long-forgotten evils shift restlessly in the shadows of Malachor and elsewhere. The mysterious Darth Sidious is not the only one who worships the dark.

These characters and story mean an embarrassing amount to me and I just had to finally get them out of my head and actually written after stewing in my head for 5 years haha.

    After the devastation in the wake of Order 66, Ira, ex-Jedi Knight turned Mercenary tries to navigate a changing galaxy and stumbles upon some old friends along the way. Battling his grief, he tries to re-integrate into his old squad that's picked up a couple of new members in recent years; one who reminds him far too much of someone he's lost, as they work to fight against the newly formed Galactic Empire for some semblance of peace.

    Yet he feels a constant pang of loss.

    Someone is missing.

    Across the stars, Crosshair faces his own inner battles. He's a good soldier. He follows orders.

    So why does he feel used?

    As he grapples with the new realities of this Galactic Empire, he slowly feels his tether growing tight, threatening to break with every fired blaster bolt, every nightmare of that cursed platform. He's just waiting for the cord to snap.
