Summary
Two sisters who used to be inseparable end up drifting apart after their family falls apart. The older one, Hazuki, shouldered responsibilities way beyond her years... taking care of everything, including her younger sister Shiori. Eventually, it became too much, and she left without saying goodbye.
Years later, they run into each other again.
What should’ve been a simple reunion turns… complicated. Shiori isn’t the same clingy and dependent girl anymore, and Hazuki isn’t the same person she used to be either. They try to reconnect, but there’s this unspoken awkward distance between them, mixed with old memories, guilt, and feelings that may or may not go way beyond just “sisters.”

She wonders if she could ever catch up to her, or if it's easier instead to pull her down to her level. That way, she doesn't have to be reminded of everything that she isn't... That way, it wouldn't hurt so much to look at her.

Living in a shared dorm with the rest of the Main Six (plus Sunset Shimmer) should be enough of a distraction, between chaotic mornings, crowded bathrooms, and parties that end in missing shoes and poor decisions. But AJ can’t stop watching Rainbow Dash. And Rainbow? She’s too busy chasing perfection on the track and battling the pressure from her overbearing coach father to notice… or so Applejack thinks.
