Konner is sitting in the VIP area of an exclusive club with Mercy, Lex, and Shenna (the girlfriend of the month). Shenna is trying desperately to make small talk with Mercy without any luck, so she starts up a conversation with Konner.
She asks about his classes at GU and his friends. She mentions that she saw a picture of him with Damian Wayne at a Gala.
“Yeah, we’re friends, actually; he’s one of my closest friends.” Konner smiles, and Lex smirks.
Shenna seems surprised by that since the moody boy never smiles, and even mentions the “Gotham Gargoyle” Tumblr page that has a collection of pictures and theories about him.
“What? There is?” Shenna hands him her phone, the Tumblr app already open. “What the Fu’... this is shit! They have pictures of Damian when he was only 9 years old! - This is sick. Dad - you have to do something about this! Shut this down!”
Lex takes a look and shakes his head. "Konner, this is social media; you can’t do anything about it. If I shut it down, a new one will take its place. I’m sorry, son.”
“That’s true - but you can always fight fire with fire…” Shenna says with a grin. “I can help you set up a 'Damian is the best' page to counter this one.”
Konner stares at her, “You’d do that? “Well - but - I don’t know if Dames would like that either…”
Shenna giggles, “He doesn’t have to know that you put it up…”
“Good - then, yes - let’s do it.” Konner is now very excited. Lex looks amused, and Mercy still looks bored.
The show is about to begin, and Konner is thinking of all of the cute photos and videos he has of Damian.
Weeks go by, and the “Emerald Eyes: The Official Damian Wayne Fan Site” is really gaining followers. It also spawns another fan site called “The Naughty Hottie,” which has everything from paparazzi shots to blurry shots taken by the public. Some are so grainy that it’s hard even to tell if it’s actually Damian, save for those gorgeous Green eyes. Fans are posting poems about his eyes, his talent, his volunteer work at the shelter... but pet adoptions are up, so that is the only reason Damian hasn’t insisted that Tim hack these sites to get them taken down.
