She wasn’t sure what it was with them, but something was weird; not bad weird, not good weird—just undefinable weird. They were never off to a good start, so maybe it was that. Maybe it was her. To be fair to the administrator or consultant or whatever it was she did, upon meeting Frankie, Britta’s first thought had been pretty negative.
Actually, that was a lie. Her first thought was, “Wow, she’s so pretty.” Her second thought was, “Wow, her voice is so nice.” Her third and ultimately most important thought was, “Wow, what a bitch.”
The other two really weren’t important.
This story is on hiatus, but I haven’t given up on it. I just don’t have the inspiration to work on it yet but later chapters are planned and I will update again when I can.
