Jason thought he was done with magic when he left the All-Caste, but it turns out magic wasn't done with him. Walking into a back-alley dive, the Red Hood expects stale beer and an old fashioned bar brawl to lift his spirits, not a shortcut to The Oblivion Bar.
But a bar is a bar, beer is beer and a fight is a fight, whether it's in the Bowery or in a pocket dimension to the left of reality.

The shock burns away immediately; the ashes condense into a murky, muted sort of rage.
He stays still for a long moment, then pulls himself up against the wall. “Okay,” he says monotonously, taking a step toward the kid, and the kid- flinches. He flinches.
Jason reels back, not speaking yet, not trusting himself not to yell. And when he does speak, he says:

Summary
J'onn J’onzz’s initial imprisonment by the government lands him a friend in his escape, but his friend sticks to shadows, too afraid to show himself. All Flash knows is the Watchtower is definitely haunted, and he will never understand the Martian culture of leaving food in corners, along walls, or other seemingly random places. He does know J'onn gets mad when he eats it, though.

…His scalp was cold.
Zuko doesn't know why he's suddenly back here again, here on his ship amongst the icebergs, with the Avatar's light stabbing into the sky. He's not even sure this is real. But if it is, he's going to do things better this time.
Of course, things go off the rails almost immediately.
