Summary
Philza was the adoptive father to three young boys, Technoblade being the eldest son and Tommy and Tubbo being the younger ones. The next addition to the family was Wilbur, a young boy which Phil found curled up between some hay bales.
The only problem is, Wilbur doesn't speak.
Phil had never known a person to not talk. Phil had heard him yelp and cry out in surprise before, so why would he not talk to him? It broke Phil’s heart to think he had done everything he could to get Wilbur to trust him and yet the young boy still wouldn’t say a single word to him.
When all hope seems lost, an old friend gives Phil's silent boy a gift with which the once silent boy could use to light up the air with beautiful sound.--
In which Phil adopts another kid but is confused when he doesn't talk, until they go to the farmer's market and someone gives Wil a little gift!

Ranboo's uncle, upon finding out that Ranboo had been texting his hybrid friends when being explicitly forbidden to do so, loses his temper with Ranboo for the final time.
Ranboo, his wings aching but still hidden away, realises that he is now homeless, his friend's numbers blocked on his phone (he had forgotten how to unblock them) and only his rucksack to help him not waste away on the streets.
And Techno, losing his mind with worry over this kid who he has found himself bound to with a hybrid bond.~~

It was hardly even seven in the morning, and Tommy felt like trash.
His first thought was that he was ill, but that was quickly dispelled. He was the great TommyInnit, and he was much too manly to ever get ill. The diseases fear him, not the opposite.
His second thought was that he was just tired and being a wuss. Yeah, that sounded about right, so he would just get up and go downstairs for some breakfast-
Upon standing up, the tell-tale sparkles began to fill in his vision with black, his head feeling light and floaty, and before he had even noticed it he had flopped backwards onto his wings, splaying out over the bed.Well. Looked like he was ill.

After a while, the boy looked up at Grian, “Why are you guys- Why are you so fuckin’ nice? I’ve been here for like half an hour, and no one has gotten angry at me for being a dick, that Xisuma bitch saved my life, and helped me calm down after a freakout- What the fuck? I don’t understand!” He cried, and Grian just let him talk. It hurt to hear, and made him wonder who hurt this kid.
His avian instincts weren’t helping either, it was not the time to be trying to take in an abandoned fledgling. It also did not help that between the ugly sobs the kid was making, he could hear the repressed chirps that struggled to pass through whatever barrier this kid had put up to stop any bird-like sounds.~

“It can get better, though.” He didn’t believe his words. How would things get better from here? They were running out of money, Dream was paying him less and less for each of his runs, they were balancing on a thin blade between life and death.
“It won’t though, will it?” Tubbo whispered, gripping onto Ranboo’s hands as tight as he could, “It won’t get better, because why would it? What do we have?” His eyes flicked to Ranboo’s left arm, the hoodie he was wearing had slipped down ever so slightly, revealing ugly, white bandages.
“We can get better.” Ranboo assured Tubbo, and himself as well, “Because we’re not dead yet.”
There was a moment of dreadful, heavy silence, then Tubbo laughed coldly.
“Not yet, but the way that Tommy’s headed?”~~
Benchtrio-centric, based off of the animatic by 'It's ya gurl vita' on YouTube, but add more despair. Expect angst, hurt and probably a lot of crime, but in the long run a happy ending.
