He tried to steady himself while clinging to both the pipe and the wall; at that moment, one of the supervisors noticed what he was doing and attempted to help him.

    “Don't move a muscle, Sherlock Holmes,” she hissed, concealing the terror caused by the sight of a student hanging halfway out of an upper-floor window. “I'm coming right now to pull you back in.”
