Summary
Every two years, General Sam Lane is reassigned, uprooting his family for a new posting. This time, the orders lead them to the middle of no-where, Kansas. This chance (or fateful?) encounter will fundamentally shift their lives in the brief window they have before the General’s next deployment, forcing a choice between the orders they’ve always followed and a connection they can't ignore.

The car fell silent again, disturbed only by the blinker as Jimmy turned into the parking lot of a gas station.

“If the Council refuses to care we have too.” She smiled at Jor sadly. “If we’re right and the world is ending we at least deserve some joy. If we’re wrong and it is not ending then we still deserve joy.”
“I need to prove it. So we can prepare.”
“We need to plan it. So we can succeed.” Lara kissed his cheek and his forehead where his scar peeked out from beneath his patch. “And we need to live, so we can grieve.”

Summary

I am going to be doing a complete overall of this story!! I got a little too sucked into the world of writing and lost a little focus on the plot lines, and so I'd like to revamp it and give you all a concise ending. So bear with me...and hope you enjoy :)
Also, each group of 10 chapters is sort of going to be divided into it's own miniseries. This first group of ten was about Jon getting the head coaching job and his introduction to the world of Richardson football.

Novelization of Lois and Clark’s story and relationship, plus Bruce, Diana, Perry, and all, based on Post-Crisis comics. It will start with the comics from the 80s until the current run. (maybe even dabble into the New 52, who knows?)
Sometimes it will follow the comics very closely, sometimes not, sometimes it will expand it, sometimes rewrite it, sometimes cross-reference with other Supermen canon, sometimes add fluff, sometimes add smut (it didn't have much in the early days).
It's very unpretentious writing and it's not supposed to be a super-accurate version either, just a fun ride.
