Joel lays in bed, his eyes closed.
He’s kind of awake, having cracked his eyes open to take a peak at the clock on the wall of his bedroom, but feeling too warm, too comfortable to truly wake up, instead, closing his eyes, attempting to fall back asleep.
Something shifts next to him and Joel turns his head, coming face to face with another, familiar face, messy blond hair, brown at the roots, gently falling into the man’s face.
Joel remembers having some friends from all over the empires, over Joel’s the night before, Oli included, they played some games, hung out, and just enjoyed being around each other.

Skizz puts his hand on Impulse’s shoulder and the demon hybrid tries to hide his injury from his best friend and partner, he does not know why though, “wow, yeah that looks complicated man.” a pauses, “What happened to your hand?”
Well, the hiding was…unsuccessful…
“Something popped out of place and sliced my hand.” Impulse says, “It’s fine though."
“No, let me see.” the angel hybrid says, moving and crouching down in front of his boyfriend, gently taking his hand in his own, inspecting the wound, “You need this cleaned out, then I can use my magic to heal it.” Skizz says, “Okay buddy?”
or, Impulse gets hurt while doing redstone and Skizz finds them, they go over Tango's to steal food and med supplies.

Jimmy whips his head around, turning his body to look behind himself, trying to see who’s calling him, but all he sees is a patch of poppies a few feet away, the field of flowers seaming to go on forever, rolling hills of nothing but multicolored flowers, and one patch of red poppies.
When the canary turns back around, looking down at his hands, the crown is dissolving into ash, disintegrating faster and faster.
