Porchay could only gasp as sobs ripped out of his throat, chest heaving while he slowly lost the battle of staying standing. Kim didn’t even spare him a glance back. He just left Porchay breaking apart on his family’s doorstep.
Porchay felt like he couldn’t breathe. The pain in his chest was all consuming and it felt like a hand was slowly tightening around his throat. Black spots danced across his vision and between gasping breathes, his eyes slipped closed.
