Summary

Meanwhile, Derek is feeling guilty about savoring the opportunity to glue himself to Stiles' side, trying to support his learning of magic, and mostly ignoring the meddling family members that definitely want something from Stiles, even though they don't deserve a second of his time.

The streetlamps block out whatever stars they might have been able to see, but all in all, it’s nice. The little numbers on the dash say that it’s just past three-thirty in the morning.
In the dark, he can just see the lines of his profile. Stiles thinks, oddly, that watching Derek Hale as he eats a cheap burger in an empty parking lot might be one of the most intimate experiences of his entire life.
