Prowl, sparked nearly two centuries before Jazz, but refused to take a noble charge because of a quote feeling. Once Jazz was brought into existence, now the Praxian struggles to keep his inner voice (which also happens to be an alternative transformation) from making the prince his when their charge comes of age. And Jazz doesn't make it easy when he refuses the king and queen's order to find a spark mate.

    Golden age Cybertron was a thing of beauty.
    Cybertron was a torn, bomb scorched landscape.
    Where Primus had given their form for their creations, the twelve primes ruled as one. Energon flowed, cities flourished, the people roamed.
    For the people of Cybertron and her budding colonies the skies seemed the limit.
    The primes were divided, some deceased or lost to legends. No one has heard from a colony in centuries.
    In this way Cybertron prospered for millennia.
    Cities were in pieces. Cybertronians lived in fear, many left with nothing turned on their fellows to survive.
    The people were sure, no matter what happened. Primus and her guiding hand would lead the way forward.
    The temples laid in shambles.
    Primus was dead.
    That was all until the day the first star fell.

    Tonight, the stars were falling.
