    Princess Amy Rose is determined to prove that she can lead the Rose Kingdom on her own by winning the Tournament of Champions. When she meets Sonic, a charming thief, in a chance encounter, the two strike a tentative deal - he'll train her for the tournament if she can help him bust a friend out of the castle prisons. Love and loyalty are tested as their magnetic attraction becomes hard to resist, and Sonic is given an impossible task by the maniacal leader of the camp of thieves.
