Summary
“I do know you.” Supergirl’s voice is soft and tender, a contrast to the wildfire that blazed in her blue eyes. “And you know me. Look at me, Lena.” Lena complies, locking gazes with Supergirl. “Really look at me.”
Lena notes the pleading tone in the hero’s voice and takes a moment to look deeply into those bold, azure eyes. Even though they’re intense, even though they’re filled with an anger Lena has never seen before, they’re also familiar. Why is that? This kind of familiarity comes with knowing someone intimately. She doesn’t have that kind of relationship with Supergirl, it’s strictly business.
No, there is only one pair of blue eyes Lena has spent what feels like a lifetime staring into. And with a breathless gasp she realizes, she’s staring into them now as well. They’re darker than normal with a hint of mischief, anger and wickedness but they’re still her eyes.

She pinched her eyes shut tightly before opening them to ask, “You really think they’d let me stay in Brightmoon?”“Just let me have a conversation with my wife… and my daughter.” He finished eyeing her. The slightest twitch in Catra’s jaw betrayed her.
“What is she like?” Micah prodded. “You seem to know one another.”
Catra instinctively felt for the cheekbone where she could still sometimes remember the fist of a certain sparkly princess. “Hot-headed.” Catra said simply. “And stubborn. Naive.” She looked at him, forgetting herself for a moment. “But… I’ll give her.” She thought about it hard. “She seems to be really loyal... to her friends.” Her voice felt faraway.
“Hmmm,” Micah raised an eyebrow again. “That sounds familiar.”
Catra crossed her arms. “And she’s really… sparkly.” She paused. “That we don’t have in common.”

Summary
It's been a year since the Battle of Bright Moon (S1 Finale). The war between the Horde and the Rebellion has ground into something of a stalemate as both sides continue to search for ways to gain an advantage.
Adora wants to be the hero the Rebellion deserves, but still wrestles with her feelings about the friend she left behind, who despite Light Hope's constant advice, she can't seem to let go of.
Meanwhile, Catra has emerged as a highly successful 2nd-In-Command of the Horde, gaining the respect of her soldiers, and even, dare she say, making something of a life for herself. Yet everything always seems to come back to the friend she's tried so hard to forget.
