Summary
Papyrus hadn't been worried! ...Well. Maybe he had been, just a bit.
It'd been a while since anyone had heard from the human, so he called to check on them. But when a conversation revealed just how young they were, he realized things had to change. They were all on their own down here. And... They had nowhere to go.
Well! If there was no one else to take care of the baby bones, Papyrus would just have to do it himself!
—
Sans was trying to get through life and ignore the apathy that had settled over him for Papyrus’s sake. It was just so hard to care about anything when he knew none of it mattered. But when Papyrus had him bring the anomaly home like a lost puppy, things stopped adding up.
How could such a sweet kid be responsible for the relentless time loops?
—
Frisk was used to being on their own, and they were pretty good at taking care of themself. But—Well. ...Dying hurt. They just wanted to get back to the surface! With Undyne in the way, they were hopeless.
So when a phone call from Papyrus somehow ended with an offer for them to crash at his house, Frisk could only be relieved for the break.
They could afford to rest for a while, right?

Summary
Adults lied. It was what they did.
They said they would take care of you, but they didn’t. They said they would be there, but then they died. Sans had gotten used to it.
But Papyrus shouldn't have to.
And if Sans had to take matters into his own hands in order to make sure he kept his promise to his little brother? Then so be it. It was Sans and Papyrus against the world, and some gangly skeleton with gentle sockets and a weird font wasn’t going to be the one to change that.
—
“Sans, wait—! Please, let’s just talk for a moment—!”
“no way, you creep! leave me alone!”
“Excuse me? I’m not a creep! I just wish to talk! You have many people very worried about you—”
“nah, you’re not excused. gimme 500 g and then i’ll consider it.”

Summary
Frisk knows better than to talk to monsters. They’re dangerous, evil beasts, and the one Frisk’s master captured is surely no different.
But there’s something about this
familiar, why is he so familiar?creature that keeps bringing Frisk back. They need to know why he would risk everything for someone who’s already gone.
—
“…FRISK?”
“How do you know my name?”
“YOU DON’T KNOW MINE?”

Summary
Frisk should be fine.
Everyone is on the surface, the sun is shining and bright, and their family is blissfully happy as they pursue their dreams in a world they’d thought locked to them.
Frisk is fine, because this is what they always wanted. So what if their scars ache and magic flashes behind their eyes every time they blink? So what if the copper of blood rests thick on their lips? So what if terror catches in their throat and stills their heart when their family ruffles their hair?
All those hands that have hurt them are achingly gentle now, and there’s nothing wrong anymore. There’s nothing for Frisk to fear.
It’s just the occasional (frequent) bad day, and bad days pass.
So Frisk chokes back bitter accusations that bubble up like poison on their lips, because Frisk isn’t allowed to be anything other than fine.
—
“You hurt me! You killed me! Of course I’m scared of you! How could I not be?!”
The words tear out of Frisk’s raw throat, and they don’t bother to choke back their sob this time, their hands shaking too hard to sign.

How to: (A Fell!Papyrus and Frisk Collection) by Floofanflur
Fandom Undertale (Video Game)
26 Jan 2025
Summary
A series of oneshots about Underfell Papyrus and Frisk's lives together - featuring Dad Papyrus. I tend to write these out of order and then re-sort them into chronological order in the series. I suggest either starting with the prequel "How to be Kind" or the actual fic that started all the shenanigans "How to Defeat a Human," however, all the pieces can be read as a standalone!
The series is largely fluff and found family, but we've got some angst and hurt/comfort sprinkled throughout! And the prequel is a much darker tone than the other fics.

Summary
“I’m disgusting. God, just look at me,” I spit at the mirror. At myself, always preoccupied with myself—as if I need any more quality time with that waste of space. Sometimes I stare at my face in this mirror and wish it was a dartboard. Or maybe a punching bag. “I’m just a gross pile of flesh. How can you want me?”
I ask Papyrus this same question again and again. It’s a pretty stupid question. I mean, I know why he wants me. The same reason everyone wants humans. We’re spectacles. We’re sexual beings. We have bumps and lumps and weird, wet places. Places that our eyes dart to check out in the mirror. Places that we feel around for, to check that they’re still there. I stare at them, these fleshy masses, and think, take them off of me. Point a finger, scold the breasts, scold the butt. Look at all the shit you have gotten me into. You guys are more trouble than you’re worth.

Summary
Peter doesn't want to go on a field trip to Stark Tower. It's a recipe for disaster. His class doesn't believe him, his teacher doesn't believe him. If he makes it through the entire day without being suspended, it'll be a miracle. Unfortunately for Peter, he's never much believed in miracles.
...
“This is a goddamn disaster.” Peter declared miserably. At least he hadn’t thrown up his food.
“Could be worse.” MJ said across from him. Peter lifted up his head.
“Oh yeah, how?”
MJ shrugged. “They could have expelled you instead.”
Peter gaped at her. “Thanks MJ, that’s really helpful. I feel so much better now.”
