~ VoltaireOn a planet called Etheria, two forces battle for control. The Horde with its skillfully trained soldiers, advanced tech and one goal: to conquer all of Etheria in the name of their lord, Hordak. The other force, the Rebellion, is made up of princesses and their followers fighting to maintain harmony and freedom for all of Etheria's inhabitants.
At least, this is what they preach. There is a third force hidden among the citizens of Etheria known as the Secret Defenders. Led by their chief, they defend Etheria from the shadows. Hidden among them all is a hero to be; her destiny was written by the goddesses and the First Ones no less than a thousand years ago. Her story is about to begin and the fate of the universe lies in her hands.

Summary
The fighting is finally over, but peace is its own kind of battle.
Catra knows that a reckoning is coming, and she deserves it. She ruined the lives of most of the members of the Princess Alliance in one way or another, so they’re definitely going to lock her in prison and throw away the key. Right?
Adora doesn’t think she’s ever truly known peace, but with Catra by her side nothing really seems all that scary anymore. She isn’t even worried about where She-Ra fits into an Etheria that isn’t at war, or how she can make herself useful. Definitely not.
While carefully navigating their new relationship, Catra and Adora find something lost and forgotten deep underground in an ancient First Ones ruin. The revelations that follow have implications not just for Catra, but for all Etheria.
But distractions have consequences. Something evil stirs in the depths where no-one dares venture, unnoticed and unchecked, that has other plans for She-Ra and her allies.
A story about love, purpose, and the sacrifices they demand.

“Oh, dear. Where’s the fun in that, besides, we’re at war-” they shift into Catra’s skin, smoothly this time, bones still cracking under the pressure of compressing themselves into her smaller stockier structure and skin bulging in places where it stretches too far, they lean in close- too close to her “Adora”- they say in her voice. She flinches, they don’t really know why. Maybe because they couldn’t perfect Catra’s voice. There was always something slightly off about it, as there is with all of their shifts between real people. Or maybe they got their voice a little too close to the originals. They shift back to their original form. “-And an unfortunate side effect of war is blood, so they'd best get used to it.”
