There is a tuft of brown hair on top of her head.
Fox has a feeling that if her eyes were open, he would see that they were also dark.
A little girl, with dark eyes and brown hair.
A little girl, just for them.
There she is, just like Fox had imagined her.
There she is, now that Fox is not.

After his death, Fox finds out that he is still there, though now as a ghost, who no one around him can see or hear.

Summary
Grace always mourned the fact that his identity was stripped away only to be replaced with humanities savior. He was a teacher, a friend, a co-worker, but now he was the one that gave his life for the world. A faceless name attached to a ship he never wanted to be on. There is a deep hole in his chest when he remembers that whenever someone looks to the stars it is never to see him, but a hero with no true place or person to call home.
It isn't until he finds home in the unfamiliar that he starts remembering what was left behind.
Or- Ryland Grace starts remembering his past/brothers after the events of the movie, and starts to realize that someone might actually be looking up at him after all.

Summary
The Decepticons celebrate a rare and brutal victory after Ultra Magnus is gravely wounded and removed from the battlefield. Megatron opens his private reserves, and for one night, discipline fractures under the weight of High-Grade Energon.
Soundwave and Starscream, intoxicated beyond caution, fall into an interface neither of them planned. By morning, shame, war, and pride are enough to bury it. They agree it meant nothing. They will not speak of it. They will continue as if nothing changed.
But something did.
When Starscream discovers the consequence of that night, he does what he has always done best: he survives. He vanishes from the Decepticons without warning, leaving no signal, no trace, and no explanation.
Years later, on the farthest neutral colony from Cybertron, an Autobot scout recognizes a hooded tricolor seeker in the crowd and he was not alone...

Summary
Fox and the Guard have effectively taken over Coruscant via taking over and running the crime syndicates. Quinlan Vos is sent by the Jedi to investigate. The only problem seems to be that no one is willing to give up the leader. And then when he finally figures it out, he… joins? Wait what?!
Or: Fox accidentally became a crime lord and decided it worked better than doing things legally. Quinlan is sent to figure out what exactly is going on.

Summary
Fox had known from a very young age that he and his brothers were slaves. Nothing but disposable fodder for the Republic. And thus it had always baffled him when Cody had spoke of the kind Jetti he served under, or when Wolffe spoke of his as a buir. Fox had never had a kind interaction with a Natborn. In his eyes, they were all the same greedy men. This did not stop him of course, from taking the pirate's deal.
Or: Hondo kidnaps Fox, and upon seeing how smart Fox is, offers him a job. Fox takes it. This, somehow, winds up saving the Galaxy.
