Summary
In the year 2202, Earth was destroyed by an interdimensional monster known as Salem. The remnants of humanity fled to a new system through a mysterious spacetime anomaly, and must face its bloodthirsty megafauna and the looming threat of Salem's return.
Yang Xiao Long and her sister Ruby Rose are leaving the shattered moon Patch for the first time. They've been accepted at Beacon Academy, a space station tethered above Vale where the system's brightest learn to fight monsters and pilot spaceships. Spaceflight might require a good sense for physics, but plugging yourself into the ship and casting your Semblance across the entire thing seems to come naturally.
Blake Belladonna, meanwhile, has just escaped a faction of space pirates lead by her now ex-boyfriend. She's found her way to Beacon Academy, and she's hoping for the best but expects the worst. It's terrifying how quickly she's getting attached to her new partner, but she has to hope this won't all end in disaster.

Summary
When Blake first opened her quaint little flower shop, it had become a home away from home. Her escape.
It's everything she could have ever hoped for, the warm sun shining through the windows, illuminating each and every bright petal that blooms around their disks. Getting to greet people all who have one thing in common – stopping by Red like Roses to grab a gift for someone they love.
It's only when an unexpectedly charming customer begins to frequent that the shop stops being warm and welcoming. It becomes something that brought them together. A thread he tugs on until it's unwound. A thread he toys with and unravels and stretches to its limit.
From then on, Blake is never the same. Not as cheerful - the colourful tint to her cheeks gone, left ghostly. When the door chimes, the usual calm, peaceful demeanour she has is nowhere to be found – a walking corpse faces each customer with her best customer service smile.
This customer is no different. The door chimes. Closes with a clatter. A ray of sunshine bounds through the windows – but that isn't the only sunshine in the shop.

“Guys we can do it one more time.” The drummer encouraged her bandmates.
“Well if you stayed on beat Ruby maybe we could.” The singer looked behind her and scowled.
“Oh, you’re one to talk, how many times are you gonna practice before you hit that high note” the guitarist starts and defends her younger sister.
“Why don’t you all just shut the f-“
“One two three four!” The bassist with long black hair and shiny golden eyes was interrupted by the younger more optimistic drummer with her short black and red hair whipping over her face as she bangs her head. All three other girls joined in playing on beat but not without dirty looks shooting around.

“Angela stared at the jackal beauty, her eyes tracing the firmness in her brown eyes that almost seem to glow gold. She could see traces of Ana within Fareeha’s facial features. The Goddess was in awe of Fareeha, mesmerized by the color of her creamy milk chocolate skin and the feminine features. Her cheeks held a soft blush, which did not go unnoticed by Zeus.”

As Hana adjusts to this new life she gets to meet Grandpa Reinhardt, Grandma Ana, Abuelo Gabriel, Grandpa Jack, Uncle Jesse and the rest of the "family".
But Hana is hiding something and it causes Angela and Fareeha to wonder:

when the summer holidays end, and the summer heat lingers, angela returns to another year of school. she had hoped for a good year, but just first day things go awry as she keeps running into fareeha, the friendship that ended badly, and left a cut that haven't fully healed years later. yet, angela finds fareeha at her dinner table that same day.
fareeha doesn't know what got into her when she asked angela if she needed a ride home, but when she finds herself at angela's dinner table part of her doesn't regret it at all, but mostly all of her loathing comes up to the surface.
