Years before Gloria's challenge to become champion, you watched as Raihan and Leon completed theirs. There wasn't much you could do, and all you could do was watch for a while. Until Raihan had to leave for Hammerlocke permanently and gave you a very special pokemon to keep. Now, after so many years, you felt that it was time to try the challenge yourself. Not to become champion, but to prove to an old friend that you were no longer the poor stranger he met on a bridge so long ago.

“H-” You began to speak, but your body’s hand came out to slap a hand over your mouth.
“Whatever you do, do not speak” the doppelganger instructed you as it removed its hand from over your mouth.
