Summary
Through a series of actions set into motion long before recent events, the Federation's new RX-104FF Penelope, and the Odysseus Gundam it shrouds, has become part of the coterie of mobile suits moving towards Adelaide under control of the terrorist group known as Mafty. Hathaway Noa is still wrestling with the fact that the now former Federation test pilot Lane Aim is going to be flying it on missions -- and that removed from the military context, Lane seems to want to familiarize himself with his fellow Gundam pilot.

Summary
It is the Universal Century 0068. Challia Bull, a recruit from Tigerbaum, has joined the Zeon National Guard seeking a way to live a proper life, find a vocation, an identity. He performs admirably, doesn't complain, excels in scholastics and on the shooting range; still, he does not yet wholeheartedly believe in the ideals his academic environment encourages. He appreciates some of them, understands the values, but they don't take over his way of being, shape his perception of the world in their entirety.
Not until he finds a person to believe in. Not until he befriends Dozle Zabi, and this meeting alters his trajectory.

Machu finds Shuji in a precarious position when he returns from his meatshield duties in the Clan-Battle against the Doms, and bravely suffers a mild concussion for his sake. Now the two just have to make it to the nearest bed and lie down.
