He felt something heavy shift underneath his scarf.

Harry had completely forgotten that he was there, his comforting weight a small thing in the back of his mind. He had been quiet for the past hour, and with everything going on with the rest of the team, Harry had become distracted. The other boy must have fallen asleep in the meantime.
Cold scales rasped across his skin, sending a shudder of sensation down his spine as Tom slithered across his body. A nose pressed into the back of Harry's neck, as if Tom was searching for warmth.
