Unrest has erupted as over half a vorn has passed since the typical Megatron and Optimus fight has resulted in the disappearance of both, including several of their crewmembers
Starscream sees an opportunity to take charge when he and his personal crew of fellow flight frames (and the two former Autobot strays drinking his energon) accidentally are found by the All-Spark, but things can never be easy for him. Now mistaken as heroes by the Earth population of Detroit, he and his crew have a lot of work ahead of them as fallen bots start to rise.

Summary
Starscream would disagree with the time everyone says the great war started. It started as early as the occupation of Vos. He was ready for war as soon as Senator Shockwave denied this plea for funds and energon to back go back to find Skyfire. It started for sure when he was branded a traitor to Cybertron for the one thing that wasn't his fault, and he had to run for his and his children's lives.
Now he and his crew of misfits travel the known universe as so called bounty hunters, later intermingling in the war between the Decepticons and the Autobots as never truly restful parties.
Then Earth happens.
