    “You just have so much control. I can’t do that,” Billy marvels. “They can’t do that.”

    The lightning is cool in theory but, the other night, his dad left the pot roast in the oven a little too long and the whole apartment made him queasy with a scent like Kesler’s burning skin. Eli is clumsy with his strength, picking up things with too much force, pulling doors off hinges. Nathaniel can fly really well, and he’s got the prodigy tech genius gimmick down, but his targeting is shaky and he isn’t natural yet in the suit, startling and freezing and thinking through his next move when it always seems so natural for Iron Man.

    “I do,” Teddy agrees. “But that’s not a fair comparison. I had a head start on all of you. I’ve always been able to do this.”

     

    Billy's still struggling to use his new powers. Teddy's already mastered his.

    "You’re so...Ned, why do you never talk about how funny you can be? Or how smart, how you can keep up with everybody else’s specialties with a little work, even when we don’t understand computers? Or how you just get people and that makes them love you?”

    Unsure how to respond, Ned looked at his feet. “I guess I just figure that everyone else sees it, so I should be sure to see it too.”

    “There’s nothing wrong with that.” Peter walked closer, putting a hand on Ned’s arm. “But maybe don’t treat it like this disadvantage to you. It’s not. There’s no downside to you, Ned.”

    For some reason, the warm touch of Peter’s hand on his bare skin combined with his words brought tears to Ned’s eyes. He blinked them away. “Thank you, Peter. That means a lot, coming from you.”

    The ‘coming from you’ slipped out of its own accord, but Peter didn’t notice or didn’t comment because he just slid his fingers down to squeeze Ned’s wrist. Ned’s breath caught, and he tried not to let on that he was dizzy with the overwhelming combination of touch, kind words, and the stupid sweet smile on Peter’s fucking face.

    One of the two twin beds was taken, its occupant laid flat on his stomach, a laptop with a whirring fan in front of them. Matt could instantly tell it was a man, thanks to the testosterone and faint B.O. Interestingly, the sound of long, silky hair shifted as the man turned his head.
    “Hey! You must be my roomie!”
    Awkwardness had ensued, the least of which being an aborted attempt at flirting. Matt had tried hard not to wince at how fast his roommate, Foggy’s, heart had sped up.
    First impressions were not great.

    Als nach ihrer Abschlussprüfung der letzte gemeinsame Sommer der drei Fragezeichen anbricht müssen sie sich mehr als nur ihren (vorerst 😉) letzten 3,5 Fällen stellen. Sowohl Bob als auch Peter haben komische Gefühle und Justus muss zu seinem Entsetzten feststellen, dass er eine erotische Fixation auf ihren Erzfeind hat. Und was dabei noch schlimmer ist: Diese wird erwidert.

    Diese Series enthält die letzten drei und einen halben Fälle, die Bob in dem Archiv in Rocky Beach sammelt:

    Die Serie ist completed und wird nach und nach hochgeladen, damit ich Beta-Lesen kann.
    Vorerst sind alle Fälle aus Justus Perspektive, aber ich hätte auch Bock noch in Zukunft einen extra Fall aus jeweils Bob und Peters Perspektive zu schreiben.
