Welcome to a tropical island with Malec! ☀️🌴
Magnus is a lonely warlock who lives on an isolated island in the Indian ocean. He had got bored of people in general and the warloc community in particular, because there was always somebody demanding something from him. So he decided to retire and move to one of his islands, which he had won about one hundred years ago in some silly bet.
Alec is a marine biologist who enjoys his lonely adventures in his small sailing boat, where he lives and makes his diving investigations whenever he wants. His boat is modern and full of hightech equipement and a fully furnished laboratory, and of course a small corner to sleep, cook and eat. He had been sailing with his boat for quite a few months now, and decided to stop at an isolated island and look for water.
I am not a marine biologist nor a sailor so please excuse any mistakes I may make with regard to this part of the story.
Characters in this story are based on Cassandra Clare's books and on the Shadowhunters tv- series. But the story is all mine. In this fic, there is little bit of the shadow world included, but not in great detail.

Magnus Bane and Ragnor Fell were old friends and business partners in a well known and highly successful magazine. Garrett Underhill owned a very well known and popular clothing line and Ragnor and Magnus really wanted his label to grace the pages of their next issue. The trouble was he was also attracted to Magnus who felt completely the opposite.
After meeting Alec at a nightclub, they go on a highly successful business dinner date with Underhill but Magnus learns that Alec isnt his usual type of date and isn't about to give in to his charms. But this doesnt deter Magnus who is determined to get both Underhill's business and Alec Lightwood. And Magnus is willing to go to any lengths to do so.

Magnus takes up his neighbour Isabelle Lightwood’s suggestion to contact her brother who is in need of a roommate.
Isabelle’s brother Alec Lightwood, a young man in his mid 30s, living in LA is a workaholic by nature. He had expected an old grumpy flatmate but is taken aback by the beautiful man who is supposed to live with him.
What happens when 2 months into Magnus’ stay in LA with Alec, quarantine gets declared?

Magnus laughed, opening the door further to walk inside. His gaze was a little uncertain, still. “I’m really sorry about that, I should probably have told you that I was coming home earlier.” he tried to apologize.
Alec gestured for him to sit down on the bed next to where he sat himself. “I’m sorry you had to catch me like that. It won’t happen again, I promise you that”
