Somehow, Midoriya had gotten through to Bakugou.
How, exactly, came as a mystery. Why, and why now, weren’t any clearer. It was just the simple fact that Midoriya and Bakugou had left for a day on a joint mission, and when they came back, Bakugou was different. As best the Class 1-A kids could describe it, it was as though Bakugou had become decent. And it seemed to pain him only a little.
Midoriya was different too. It was hard to spot, and hard to understand, but it was as though his presence in the class had vanished as well. He spoke little at all, and answered no questions, and declined a few too many offers to hang out in favor of sleep. He sat in a way much too tense, and his jaw seemed taut to breaking. And now, equally without cause, Midoriya seemed to suddenly despise Bakugou.

Will breathed in a ragged breath. Black smoke poured from his mouth as he tore himself free from the wall. He collapsed forward, coughing and gasping on the cold, moist floor.
His heart pounded in his ears as he shakily scrambled to his feet. Eyes darting around the abyss, he started to run. And he ran, and ran, and ran.
His feet pounded on the ground when suddenly he found himself on a familiar path. Finally, something familiar. Will sprinted through the woods, as a feeling of hope filtered its way through the panic. He was getting there, he was gonna be safe, it was finally within reach.

The pain in his chest and legs screamed at him to rest, but he couldn't risk stopping. He pushed himself further, calves aching with each step. Suddenly, a loud screech echoed through the air from somewhere up ahead.

He wouldn't have let him talk so much, he wouldn't have sent him to fight his friends right away, and he wouldn't have let Robin do anything that might inspire him to resist Slade's control. He would have found a way to keep Robin, at any cost.

By the time Midoriya Izuku turned nine, he had died eleven times.
His Quirk—designated Multiplicity—doesn’t simply clone him for a brief moment, creating a weak and fallible copy of the original. He wishes it were that simple.
No. Instead, it perfectly duplicates him, creating two identical Izukus.
Each Izuku is a complete, independent person with the same memories, the same body, the same will to live. And each can split again, as one turns to two, then four, then eight, and so on.
In theory, there could be infinite Midoriyas. A verifiable army of the exact same person. When one dies, his memories flood into the nearest survivor. It would have been endless—an uncountable tree of Midoriyas branching across the world.
In practice, the universe seems to hate that idea. The moment more than two exist, reality bends to correct the imbalance—accidents pile up, probability breaks, and one by one they die until only two remain.
Every time, an Izuku remembers each death like he lived through it.
Despite this, each iteration of Midoriya Izuku wants to be a hero.

A fic in which Izuku inherits one for all but things are complicated, and Izuku's goals are a little bit different. He still wants to be a hero of course, but his ultimate goal is to crush his enemies.
So basically a fic in which Izuku tries to be a hero but believes in extreme violence.

And so, Violet was lost to time. She’d forever be remembered as ‘it’, as a cold plate of dinner that no one ever ate, just another unsolved mystery, just another missing person statistic.
But Violet was far from dead.
