Summary
Shěn Qīngqiū's already sick of this stupid wife plot by the time the ever shifting portal spits them out into the Water Prison of a different dimension. Instead of his dearly missed bamboo house, he sees the Original Goods. The original Shěn Qīngqiū, not yet a human stick. And a fully blackened Luò Bīnghé, very clearly about to change that. What else can he and his Bīnghé do but rescue the other Shěn Qīngqiū and abscond with him. Sure, the other Luò Bīnghé's going to chase after them as soon as he figures out how, but that gives them time to plan. And have a small to large breakdown - that one's for Qīngqiū's only, no Bīnghé's allowed.
Of course, Shěn Qīngqiū - Shěn Yuán - doesn't expect his stupid traps to actually work. It doesn't, but perhaps it goes alright anyway.

There was a glitch during transmigration - Shen Yuan's inclined to think such a thing was caused solely by how stubborn Shen Qingqiu is - and now he's stuck a less than a ghost. At least a ghost would be perceivable by people. The only person who can see Shen Yuan is Shen Qingqiu. Shen Qingqiu who's stubborn enough to ignore all of Shen Yuan's perfectly reasonable suggestions for how he should treat his disciples. One disciple, in particular. Since Shen Yuan can't mention the whole 'human stick' thing, trying to convince Shen Qingqiu to act like a decent human is frustratingly hard.
Appeal to Shen Qingqiu's common decency? Ha! Absolutely not. Bribery was the only solution that was ever going to work.

Shen Yuan died and woke up bound to the protagonist of his least favorite trash novel. The System's rules are simple: keep Luo Binghe alive, or face permanent soul deletion. It sounds like a straightforward escort mission. Shen Yuan is fully prepared to protect the sweet, innocent white lotus from the cruelties of the cultivation world.
There is only one problem. Luo Binghe is already a manipulative, terrifyingly observant child.
Shen Yuan was supposed to be a guardian angel. Now, he desperately needs his own guardian angel to survive being the prized possession of a very clingy, thoroughly unhinged protagonist.

TDLR; this whole fic is an elaborate excuse to write catboy!SY going into heat.

Summary
Nebula. Noun. According to Oxford's Dictionary, a nebula is a cloud of gas and dust in outer space, visible in the night sky either as an indistinct bright patch or as a dark silhouette against other luminous matter. Nebulas are the beginnings of a star. At least that's what NASA always said.
The idea that all things start from nothing had always appealed to Danny from a young age. Perhaps that is why he put up with his life for so long. The thought that perhaps, one day he will become something like a star. Something or someone important. He never thought how much his little soul would have to be twisted and warped to become that star.
Waking up in Gotham Danny is finally set on a path to intercept with who he is meant to become. However, there are forces and trials he must face before he can become what he was meant to be. Hopefully, the family and friends he makes along the way can help him with these trials and prevent the collapse and death of this forming star.
