Suzuno wants to clean up the corruption within the church, Chiho must face the challenges of growing up while struggling with the friendships she cares about, and Maou is faced with two decisions: whether he covets his life in Japan or his subjects, who are still waiting for their King's return. And of course, Heaven is not done yet with the Demon King and the Hero.
An alternate retelling of The Devil is a Part-Timer!/ Hataraku Maou-sama! diverging after Vol. 10 and the end of Season 2 of the anime. With old and new characters alike! For you, dear readers!

Not from you, something chittered from above. Wings flapped, soft; a small bird, something woodland, and something was screaming in Wei Wuxian’s mind.

Before Wei Wuxian knew love, he knew Jiang Cheng. It isn’t to say that he didn’t love Jiang Cheng; in fact, love must have been what fueled about ninety-nine per cent of his first life’s decisions, his love for that insufferable, simple-to-fluster, always-yielding boy. But he had never really thought of it in those terms. Jiang Cheng is easy. He’s always there. Wei Wuxian has always held the impression that love is meant to be turbulent and biting, in the heated, fleeting kind of way, and when that impression fades it is by force and not maturity.
Because he never matured, of course. He came back to life twenty years old.
And Wei Wuxian doesn't like easy.
