“Is that you sweetheart?” He shouted and the silence was deafening. Still no response. Goosebumps prickled down his arms. Shane was a perceptive person. He would have heard the door close and certainly heard Ilya calling him. Was he in trouble? What if someone else was inside with them? It didn’t look like someone had broken in. Fear made him race to their room.
He could hear sobbing and his blood ran cold. Shane needed him. Something was wrong. He flung open the door then froze in shock at what was waiting.

Hudson was having a really bad evening, day if he was being honest. It started when Connor cancelled on him. Said he had a last minute thing he had completely forgotten about. Hudson would call bullshit but with how busy they were... it was possible. Like a good friend he had said it’s fine. Told him which hotel he was in, sent him the door code and sat in his hotel room. Back pushed into a deep pink couch. Just in case he decided to come over.
