Summary
Whoever said 'third time's the charm' absolutely did NOT know what they were talking about, because at this point Arthur had found out about Merlin’s magic three-hundred and twelve times and it was going no smoother.
One might think that, being the most powerful warlock to ever walk the earth, Merlin would be able to break one tiny little curse. Or, failing that, he would be able to get through one short day without Arthur discovering his magic.
However, expectations do not always match reality, no matter how much Merlin might wish otherwise. -

After a successful and eventful case that ended in a high speed chase before the guilty party was brought to justice, Peter believes things are winding down in the office and he can enjoy the start of a relaxing weekend...That is, before Jones reminds him that Neal forgot to take the Listening Device Pen out of his pocket when he left. They turn it on to hear Neal frantically saying, “run…run…RUN…GO!!” Followed by Mozzie's voice, “GO…get the gold and go!" Peter and Jones race to find Neal and discover what sort of mess he has gotten himself into this time, yet are quite surprised by what they discover!

Fearing Geralt for any reason is a new element to Jaskier’s life, but it’s becoming a guiding force alarmingly quickly.
There’s not even a fucking reason for it. He doesn’t think Geralt will hurt him, has never thought he was ever at risk of permanent damage from the witcher. Geralt would toss himself off of a tower before he’d raise a hand or blade to someone who didn’t deserve it, gut punches to innocent bardlings notwithstanding.
But still, when Geralt turns a frustrated face his way after training or growls under his breath when one of the others snatches something before he gets to it at dinner, Jaskier feels like he’s back on that mountain, back to being driven off like an unwanted stray.
The anger is never directed at him, but he knows now how easily it could be.
He wonders, each day, how soon it will be.
