Summary
Whenever Jungkook had tried to garden before, it was a long and drawn out process. Even those as sturdy as cacti had taken an age to appear from their topsoil beds, stretching fragile leaves out into the open. One houseplant he had been given had died almost as soon as he touched it and he had to wait for the roots to sprout stems all over again. Months and months passed with barely a seedling to see.
How ironic it is that that the one plant he manages to keep alive happens to be the one that would eventually kill him.
Or, the one where Jungkook and Taehyung are soulmates but Taehyung doesn't know, leaving Jungkook to suffer through a love that will never be returned.

tears come to his eyes.
he gathers the conch in his hands carefully and withdraws his hands from the water.
not only does the pearly sunset shell rest tellingly in his palm, but his right arm tingles with remembrance now, and jungkook looks over to find the inked designs of his previous life materializing over his skin. the tiger flower is the first thing that catches his gaze, the scrawl of please love me encasing it in dark lines. that was the last inking he’d ever had done: the tiger flower.
(jimin had designed it and yoongi had inked it onto his skin.)
after letting the water drain from the conch, jungkook - without any hesitation - takes a deep breath, closes his lips around the hollow, pointed tip, and blows.
a low smooth bellow leaves the conch with determination, a sound that echoes through jungkook’s thoughts after he stops.
with it, the air around jungkook vibrates incessantly and finally -
cracks.

Summary
Set in modern world where magical creatures have left or gone to hiding while humans take up more space, Jungkook manages to escape the facility deep in the woods where he was kept in and experimented on. He is taken in by six lovely but a little peculiar people while he fears for the people who kidnapped him to find him. The six people clearly have secrets of their own or they wouldn't live so rurally off the grid. Jungkook's own shadows don't want to leave him alone even though he starts falling in love.
