He was trying to explain the concept of a ‘floptropika’ while Derek stared at a spreadsheet. "Like you’re genuinely giving grandpa, man.. You need a hobby that isn't… whatever this gray box on your screen is."

    Derek didn't look up, but his pen paused for a fraction of a second. "It’s a budget, Avery. Something people use when they aren't spending their entire paycheck on steam games on sale that you’ll never even play."
