Summary
It was three years after the devastation of the Kyūbi attack that the kidnapping attempt of Hyūga Hinata and the unreasonable demands of the Yondaime Raikage came.
Sarutobi Hiruzen, hearkening back to his glory days as the God of Shinobi who was feared by all, steeled his resolve and refused to give up Hyūga Hiashi's life.
The Raikage declared war on Konohagakure no Sato.
And thus destiny was tilted unto its head, and the downbeat of a chaotic symphony descended upon the Elemental Nations.
Amidst the tidings of war, Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke coalesce under the leadership of one Hatake Kakashi who's learned to swallow his grief.
The result? A team straight from the legends.

Summary
Naruto, after a near death experience at the age of five was about to release the Kyuubi. He was about to take the seal down, when his parents showed up. They originally planned to help him fight the Kyuubi with their chakra, but when they heard how the Village treated him, they changed their mind and used their chakra to give him their knowledge and experience.
