Kirk is running out of suppressants and hasn't exactly gotten around to telling the guys that he's an omega. Sure he's fucked around with guys before, his Exodus bandmates had helped him through a heat or two, but he wasn't keen on having to tell his Metallica buddies just yet.
Him running out of suppressants definitely won't be a problem and he definitely won't end up being bent over on multiple occasions. He also definitely won't run into Metallica's ex-guitarist who'd love nothing more than to take him to pound town, in more ways than one.

Your greeting stuttered in your throat, but your friend saw you, hugged you. You locked your gaze on David through the hug, the way one might keep an eye on a prowling grizzly bear for any sudden movement, caught frozen. Did they say to play dead for grizzly bears? You couldn’t imagine that would deter him from digging in.
