Summary
It isn’t easy being the pack alpha of an all-alpha pack, especially in the idol world. Tempers flare easily, and the pack alpha is supposed to minimize conflict and be the unquestionable leader—the alpha of alphas.
Admittedly, Hongjoong has no real right to hold such a title, but after nearly a decade, he’s gotten decent at faking alpha. Omegas don’t last long in this industry, not in the leader position. So what if he’s lying to everyone he loves? It’s a sacrifice for the good of ATEEZ, and Hongjoong will do anything for his members.
They’re why he keeps a bottle of “Automatic Alpha” pheromone spray in his bag and has a lock on his desk drawer where he keeps it with his suppressants, so they don’t suffer the stigma of an omega leader. They’re why he stays in the studio until the sun rises, so he can give them the best comeback.
It’s not like Hongjoong would be a good omega anyway. Not the one that his pack deserves, at least.

Seonghwa expects–hopes for–a flash of recognition and for the alpha to smile and invite him in. But instead the alpha's gaze darkens into something seething. The wolf crosses from the porch, tears through the gate, and converges on Seonghwa in a matter of seconds. Under the spike of the other alpha's scent, Seonghwa cowers. He holds up his hands, drops to his knees right here in front of the beautiful flowers, and he bows his head in submission.
"What the hell do you think you're doing here?" the alpha snarls viciously.
Seonghwa steadies himself, not looking up. He carefully repeats, "I'm looking for my mate."
The alpha scoffs. He sounds not only bitter but tired. "Why would you, when you're the one who killed him?"

San had been eyeing Seonghwa for a while now and his infatuation only got worse when they started sharing a dorm together. He knew that his pretty roommate was off limits but when he heard soft moans coming from Seonghwa’s room one night, that resolve crumbled. It certainly didn't help when San realized that Seonghwa wasn't alone and that the member who also had been driving him insane seemed to be the one drawing those sounds from him.
