He sets the controller down next to him on the couch, abandoning his game in favour of teasing Shadow. “But you’re telling me you know who Sabrina Carpenter is?? Um, since when?”

Shadow’s dreams had become oddly persistent lately. They were vivid, strange, and always circling back to the same thing: a blue hedgehog.
Not just any blue hedgehog. This one moved like a blur, fast and free, his laughter echoing through Shadow’s subconscious like a memory just out of reach. His features were never entirely clear—just flashes of cobalt fur, sharp emerald eyes, a voice filled with warmth and reckless confidence.

You want freedom from them, from the city, and you want to find your place in the world. An opportunity shows itself once you hear of an incident on Progress Day, and a man is sent to prison for not only his involvement with the incident, but for attempting to smuggle the ever so infamous substance Shimmer in from the undercity. Noticing the government's weak response to the situation, and deciding to overlook danger in name of adventure, you set out to interview the imprisoned man. Along the way, you see a familiar pink-headed woman you thought you'd never see again, from a long-ago memory of an explosion in Piltover

Summary
The Justice League’s newest recruit, Nightwing, catches Clark’s interest. Not for his striking confidence or advanced skillset, however, but for the way he seems to immediately hit it off with Batman. He beams at the Bat like a dog at its owner’s heels, and to Clark it’s getting annoying.
Superman is determined to figure out what makes the young hero so special, but through his investigation he slowly begins to realize a few things about himself and his feelings towards Batman.
He’s also got a story due at noon, an interview with Bruce Wayne, and a peace treaty to enforce, but that’s not relevant right now.
Or, Clark misinterprets Nightwing and Batman’s relationship so badly it’s laughable…until he realizes what they are to each other in the worst way possible. Then it’s not that funny. Crack ensues. Angst ensues. Lol.
