Summary
Blurry memories of a family he once had drive the young Holloway to the ends of the Earth, seeking out any way to bring them back. All he wants is a family, he had it once and he knows that he wants it back.
As the blade carved into the flesh of the gourd, it pained the boy more and more, each slash of the knife causing his hands to shake as he trimmed out the image of a face, he'd been practicing and trying his best to remember what they looked like so he didn't mess this up. The first eye hole popped out and fell to the table with a disgusting splat, pumpkin seeds spilling out like blood, the sight made Gourdy sick to his stomach but he had to keep going, it was too late to turn back.

Summary
Angie Lyman was once an employee at the esteemed Playtime Co., before the downfall that is.
One day, everyone just disappeared. No warning, no notice, nothing. All they'd done was call off work for a day due to an illness, but it's as if the next day the factory ceased to exist.
A note in their mailbox and a VHS tape containing an advertisement for the first toy that really made an impression on consumers was the final push they needed to return, to find out what happened.
Entering the old factory, things are a lot creepier than they remember leaving them as an old friend watches them from the shadows.

Summary
“Then what’re ya doin’?” Mark approached him, glaring up at Wallter with hostility, “What’re ya doin’ with yer life? Sittin’ around like a stick in the mud?”
Wallter heaved a low sigh. “I’m succeeding, Mark. It’s something you should consider looking into.”
Mark balled his fist, shaking with bitter rage.
"Succeeding?" Mark's voice cracked. "Is that what ya call it? Plastering yer face on every billboard in Robloxia? Choking down that poison till ya turned into a walkin' tombstone?"
Wallter's jaw tightened—the first real reaction Mark had gotten out of him. "At least I'm not destroying heavy machinery and nearly killing myself at work."
Mark is still wrecked three years after Wallter divorced him. He blames Wallter’s addiction to Grey Stuff for changing him and destroying their marriage, and nothing—work, dates, time—fills the hole Wallter left.
Who knew an explosion, an unlikely meeting, and a demotion could lead to such a disastrous reunion of the two?Bookmarked by crumblingcogs
