Summary
Crownguard Sarai was already married when the Crown Prince caught her eye - but neither her husband Damien nor Prince Harrow seemed to mind. Harrow married them both against the advice of the king and his best friend, Viren. With the assistance of the kingdom's finest healers, Damien was able to manage his breathing sickness and has hope of actually seeing their sons grow up.
Duren still petitioned Katolis for their help after years of drought, and Viren still came up with the plan to harvest the heart of the magma titan. None of the three queens returned to the Pentarchy. Seven years later, Viren attempted to incite King Harrow to avenge the death of his wife, but Damien talked him out of it.
Now, Viren still needs an excuse to get to the hoard of the King and Queen of the dragons - and Damien has accidentally handed him the perfect bait for the young princes.Basically: Damien Lives AU where they still believe Sarai to be dead, and Damien points out how monumentally stupid Harrow's vengeance was.

Keeper Lyrennus, one of the few old enough to remember the Bloodmoon Massacres, leads them, much to the confusion of Prince Karim.

Summary
It was a stupid mistake. How many times had Skor been warned not to rely too much on his equipment, to trust only his own body and even that with limitations?
Skor makes a mistake on a mission at the tender age of sixteen. The ensuing torture robs him of his voice and very nearly his life, and he doesn't understand why it stops. His escape doesn't clear anything up for him, but he does escape, and he returns home to Moonshadow Forest in shattered pieces.

Summary
What if Rayla was right, and killing Ezran couldn't have freed the assassins because they were bound to avenge a death that hadn't yet happened? Runaan wavers in his convictions and gathers the other assassins to her cause. He will have to learn to let Rayla forge her own path, as she will learn to step out of the shadows cast by all of her parents. These human princes show a level of honor and respect to the elves that the assassins are unused to, and both sides must question everything they were taught.
Note: major character death is in reference to King Harrow, who is not actually dead, but everyone in the story will believe that he is and it's narrated as such, so it's getting the warning anyways. No one else is going to die I promise.

Summary
It's been a few weeks since Ravus Nox Fleuret, de facto king of Tenebrae, joined the chocobros at Archeole. He hadn't seen much of their casual outfits before, and he just caught himself staring long enough to notice the "Cauthess, Do Not Enter" patch on Prompto's trousers. He asks about it.

Summary
Ilya hums, playing the card he's been considering for this entire conversation. “We could make more interesting, yes? A bet.”
“A bet,” Shane repeats, eyes flashing. “Like what?”
The reporter cuts in. “What about wearing the other player’s jersey?”
They both turn to her, and Shane says, “Like, the loser wears the winner’s jersey?”
“Maybe at the next game in a couple of months?”
“Is a good idea,” Ilya muses, nudging Shane’s elbow. “You will look better in my jersey than in Montreal jersey.”
Shane makes a low noise, his eyes holding a bit of a spark when he looks back to Ilya. It’s what Ilya was hoping for—the tiniest crack in the mask. He can see a hint of exasperated affection around the corners of Shane’s eyes, a little bit of fire burning just beneath the surface. It sends a thrill down Ilya’s spine, and he wonders if Shane will be snarky when Ilya gets him naked tonight.
“That’s not happening,” Shane replies, shaking his head. “Because you’re not winning.”

Summary
Pride warms Johnny from the inside out, soothing away any remaining tension in his body. Simon feels safe, Simon feels like he’s established a territory here, and Johnny helped. It’s a bizarre sort of satisfaction, but he squeezes Simon’s wrist anyway, feeling deeply pleased with himself.
“Alright, thanks so much for letting me know,” he tells her. “I’ll talk to you soon?”
“Well, you should probably know that he might feel the urge to–”
Johnny sighs, interrupting her again. “Sarah, you just told me that my very attractive husband wants very badly to give me what will probably be a wonderful round of sex. I will talk to you later.”

Summary
When they found him, he didn't know how to interact with humans at all. When they finally got him as acclimated as he was going to get, they started training him. It had been Price who decided to form the 141, Price who had treated Ghost not like a monster or a weapon, but a soldier first.
Ghost had known even then that he was never going to get a better offer than that.
